The vintage kenner figures were created from an original wax or acetate sculpting and are first reproduced as a hardcopy. From the hard copy, the steel production molds are made and the first figures to be molded are called first shots. First shots can be both painted or unpainted but the defining feature is the lack the copyright markings on the legs.
This vinyl cape Jawa first shot has a handcut cape and is handpainted. Compared to the production jawa the hands are thinner and the bandoleer is much thicker.
